Dynamic bridge ports

Mon Jan 16, 2017 7:22 pm

Hi all.
Can someone explain a sense of dynamic bridge ports?
In my config I have all ether ports grouped to switch with master port (ether2). Regarding to wiki I've created bridge containing ether2+wlan ports. On 6.36.4 I see only 3 ports in bridge (master and 2 wlans) but after updating to 6.38 bridge populated with rest ether ports in state "dynamic". It's ok that all ether ports are in switch and bridge at the same time?
Thanks.

Those ports appear because they are slaves to the master switch port.
I would say not to worry about.

I have pretty much the same question, and I find docmarius' answer incomplete.

I have a RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN with RouterOS 6.40.4.

I have a bridge-local.
spf1, ether1, ether2, and ether6 are manually set as member ports of bridge-local.

spf1 is unused. ether1 is the uplink gateway.
ether2 is the master of ether3 to ether5.
ether6 is the master of ether7 to ether10.

However, in WebFig --> Bridge --> Ports, I only see ether7 to ether10 as dynamic members. I don't see ether3 to ether5. Why is that?
