Pass Through Port in (RB951Ui-2Hnd)

Wed Apr 05, 2017 1:56 pm

Hi guys,

I have Mikrotic RB951Ui-2Hnd Router, it has a PoE pass through port. When I connect one PoE tablet (android device) with this port via CAT5 cable.. my device didn't turn ON..

Do I need to do any setting or configuration on Port 5 with yellow color (pass through port) to become PoE out and power my PoE tablet?

Thanks

In Webfig go to Interfaces click on the ether5 interface to open details and go down the list to the POE Out entry. You can choose "auto on", "forced on" or "off".

Also note the PoE out port is Passive 24v PoE not 802.3af/at PoE (48V). What standard does your device use ?
