hAP behind a 951G router. Visibility problem.

Sat May 20, 2017 8:38 pm

I received the Mikrotik hAP ac, and I have two issues with the preconfiguration:

+ Ethernet ports are not bridged toghether. A PC connected to port 2 can navigate to the wan thru port 1, but can't see a network printer connected to Ethernet port3. So Ethernet ports are not working as a normal switch.

+ This hAP is connected to a main LAN with a 951G router connected in turn to a Telefonica fiber service.
Well, PCs in the "main" lan, for instance connected to the 951G router don't see the PC and printer connected to hAP Ethernet ports.
I turned DHCP Server and NAT Disable in the access point trying to make IP addresses governed from the main 951G router, but still are not visible.
I'd like hAP to behive just dumb as far as ip addresses is concerned

It is probably a config detail what I'm missing, but it would be a great help if you could give a hint.
Thanks and regards

Remove current configuration and create a bridge afterwards. Let the bridge consist of all LAN and WLAN interfaces and your done. How the MikroTik will behalve as a switch.
