Hello and good day to you.
I have a question about configuring Mikrotik hEX PoE device. We have install this device into existed communication system between internet provider and existing router (other vendor).
There is a goal to make it working as it was before impact.
In eth1 or sfp1 port goes uplink to internet provider, to eth5 inserted wire that goes to existing router.
Two setting from provider received: IP:10.2.3.253 for the mikrotik router and IP:10.2.3.55 for the existing router in the same subnet.
There is should be communication from provider to eth5 port, and eth1 or sfp1 should be a wan port for NAT to the eth2-4 ports and DHCP pool should look to that LAN network. Also should working port forwarding from 192.168.88.101 to 10.2.3.253, dhcp clients should ping to IP:10.2.3.55 and internet that goes from IP:10.2.3.253(eth1)?
Is that possible?
I am trying to remove 'bridge' from 'defconf' and create two new bridges 'bridge1' and 'bridge2', then add eth2-4 ports to the 'bridge2' and eth1, sfp1, eth5 to 'brigde1' - after that action i am lost communication to the device in case i am configuring Mikrotik from uplink cable remotely or there is no communication between eth2 connected network device and internet or IP:10.2.3.55 device. Also IP:10.2.3.55 router didn't reach the internet connection from provider.
Could i ask for some help in my situation here?
P.S. Sorry for my bad English
