Set Top Box Traffic Filtering

Thu May 24, 2018 11:21 pm

Hi all,
i have the hAP with routerOS 6.42.2. My setup is following - i have two wifi routers - one connected to ISP the other connected to the first. This should be setup in an AP mode altough it does not seem to work entirely. So the mikrotik does not have NAT, passes DHCP to the first router and bridges all interfaces(ether1-ether5 + wlan1 + wlan2). So everything is on the same network.

But to the issue- to the second router(Mikrotik hAP) a Set Top Box is connected. When i turn it on the whole network is flooded with traffic.
I tried the IGMP Snooping which helps immediately - the traffic goes to the STB and other interfaces are free.
BUT then after some time STB beign turned off it cannot start - i can see the program but no video comes through.
If i turn off IGMP Snooping this starts up just fine - but floods the network again.
I tried to setup IGMP Proxy along with the Snooping but the interfaces are always inactive and i didnt manage to get it working.

Does anybody now how to get this working?
Thanks!!
