Hi,

My network is on Virgin (with a HiTron router) and I have just bought a MikroTik RouterBoard to give me a better range for the router. The MikroTik is connected to the HiTron router through a physical ethernet cable. Everything is online and the system is quite stable.

Is there any way in which I can ask the RouterBoard to issue ip addresses from the HiTron router when a device connects to it? I am at a bit of a loss, as I do not know what to search for.

An example of the problem I am having is that my NAS drive is connected by cable to the RouterBoard. However my desktop is connected to the HiTron router (by ethernet cable again) and does not seem to be able to talk to the NAS drive, as it looks like a different network.
