SXT LTE kit (product code RBSXTR&R11e-LTE)

Tue Oct 30, 2018 9:53 pm

Hi

I am wondering if there is a way I can use this antenna without putting a sim into the antenna? I want to use the antenna with a 4 sim peplink router so I cannot have the sim/ sims within the antenna.

Any help or suggestions would be great

SXT LTE kit isn't designed to open and change the components as the case will be damaged.
There are a microufl connectors on the pcb where the antenna ports are connected which can be used to connect to external connection.

How weatherproof is the SXT LTE, will it handle heavy rains and storms?

Because I can't see any rubber gaskets or cable pass through sealing. It just looks like simple hatch with an hole for the cable?

Hello.

I had the SXT LTE antenna for several months installed outside on the pole and no problems with rain.

i opened it also to use two external antennas trying to get a better gain.

I moved to the RMB11G just to test something different, including open wRt istead routeros..

Unfortunalely up today is not possible to use any CAT 6 modem with mikrotik routerboards...like the Sierra mc 7455.
