LED Status Light Colors

Wed Nov 14, 2018 7:47 am

I'm very new to the Mikrotik family and was hoping for some insight regarding the LED lights on the RB962. I did a google and mikrotik forum search on these lights but didn't turn up anything that makes me 100% confident in what they mean.
I have eight LED lights on the RB962. The top looks like the standard logo for wifi and it is currently blinking green and red (alternating between the two). The next five are for the LAN ports and the one that's hooked up to my desktop is blinking green (which I can only assume means it's working...which it is). Then there's a light for SFP which isn't illuminated and then finally the PWR button for power, which is a solid blue.
I guess my big question is...why do I have the blinking green and red lights at the top? I think in another forum a member suggested that green was for the 2.4GHz band and the red was for the 5GHz. Can anyone confirm if this is correct?
