Winbox disconnecting

Have an RB 750 , want to setup VPN. Trying to use Winbox. About 20 seconds after connecting with winbox I get the following message "Error, Router has been disconnected". Winbox tries to reconnect and I get this message, "Could not connect to (port 8291) - Other end is not responding!". Router is still working and I can access it from my browser. Anyone have any ideas why winbox is disconnecting?

Are you doing something? By that, I mean have you started making parameter changes? If yes, what are you changing? Also, what version of WinBox and RouterOS?
RB750Gr3, RB750r2, CRS326-24G-2S (in SwitchOS), CSS326-24G-2S, CSS106-5G-1S, RB260GS
Not sure if I beat them in submission, or they beat me into submission
