Two cAP , 1 hAP ac lite T

Tue Jan 15, 2019 10:26 pm

Hello guys!

I have 2 cap and hap ac lite t. I want to make a seamless network, but I don’t know where to start.
1 cap connected to LAN4 with rj45
2 cap is connected to lan5 with rj45.
would it not be enough to just make the SSID on each cap?
Tell me something I can read on this topic. Does anyone have guides or tutorials?
Regard!

I have a hex router and 2 cap ACs.
They are easy to configure out of the box as their default setup is excellent.
When I get home I can post my config if that helps..........
In the meantime you have to figure out if you will need more than the two networks the cap provides
(1x 2.4Ghz, and 1x5Ghz). You can create virtual APs,
For example in my home each cap AC has smart devices on VLAN on the 2.4Ghz
and each 5Ghz network is used for home users (smart phones). I created for each a third virtual AP running off the 5Ghz WLAN to server guests on a vlan.
Thus smart devices and guests have vLAN access to the internet but nothing else in the house.
