I have fiber optic internet with bell and have their home hub 3000. They have an SFP gpon registered on their network that I've plugged into my Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+in and set the VLAN to 35 to get internet working.
What I want to do is have two of the ports feed into an HP ProCurve switch with an established pppoe connection and I want another port from the Mikrotik to connect to a separate router that would establish its own pppoe connection for a different network.
I did this before by feeding the gpon into the ProCurve then being able to establish 4 separate pppoe connections but the problem is that the ProCurve SFP is only a gigabit port and the service I have is 1.75gigabits so I'm limited to the gigabit port speed. ideally aggregating the link would give me more overall bandwidth to split up between my ports.
On the separate router I don't need anything faster than gigabit so I'm ok with the port limit.
Is this possible to setup?
