Access to shared Printer over PPTP connection

Tue Sep 10, 2019 12:33 pm

Hi All,

I am a bit of a noob here to MikroTik so please bare with me. I am facing the following problem:
I have a PPTP connection on my MikroTik to a offsite hosted server from our office. On the desktop at the office I am sharing a printer plugged in via USB, I have setup NAT rules on the MikroTik so that the offsite hosted server can see the PC's shared Files and Printers. When trying to connect to the printer from the server I keep on getting an unable to connect error on the server, but am able to open the shared folder and paste data into it. It seems as if the MikroTik does not know how to translate the ports or something between the router and the computer needed for the printer.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated. If you need more info please let me know.
I have attached a screenshot of what happens in the log when trying to connect to the printer
. NAT Rules for the connection also attached.
