Station mode on cAP 2nd

Mon Sep 16, 2019 11:39 am

Hello,
I bought MikroTik RouterBOARD cAP 2nD and want to use it for station mode. I did a security profile and insert the wifi key just like I login into the wlan on my smartphone. After that I changed my wlan1 profile into station mode, select scan and double clicked on the specific accesspoint. There are either station, station pseudo-bridge, or station pseudo-bridge-clone possible. Howewer, the status only says searching for network and I can't connect to the accesspoint. Why? My smartphone works with wpa/wpa2 setting.

I want to use the station mode to provide a (virtual) WAN port to my pfSense router. How did I connect my hardware?

pfSense router <- managed switch <- Routerboard. I want to forward or bridge the internet access (wifi connection) from the Routerboard to my pfSense router. Only my pfSense router should route and serve the DHCP. Is that even possible?
