SXT LTE6 Kit drops internet (EE UK)

I have recently installed an SXT LTE6 Kit . EE SIM in slot A and Vodafone SIM in slot B.
what i have added to the default config:

Netwatch with script to monitor internet drops and to switching APN Profile and SIM Slot .
VPN connection is just there for me to get remote acess. Normal Internet traffic would not go through VPN.
scrip to change comment on the LTE interface to keep a record of data usage.

The problem is that on EE SIM , it keeps dropping connection, causing the script to switch to Slot B.
When using the Vodafone Sim in Slot B, all is fine. It will stay connected for days.

Please describe what you want to reach your ideal/the best scenario with switching/reenabling internet.
Meanse stuff like:

when rsrp < x
when no internet
when SXTR receive SMS from my phone number x

THEN

switch sim
reconnect
wait x minutes or x times
Send SMS
Send e-mail
write logs

What exacly you want ?

I've got all the scrip for switch SIM etc, it works just fine on Vodafone SIM but EE SIM keeps dropping off.
I am not expert in LTE connections so hope you can see what the issue is from the Log.

EE signal seems fine to me. the script logged this before switching to Vodafone (due to timeout to 8.8.8.8, checked every 5 min)

I suspect it's something to do with Carrier aggregation? If that's something worth trying, I am happy to disable Band 3 and only use Band 20 (currently Primary band is 3 and CA band is 20)

Please not use this. Better way is provide users the DNS with DHCP Networks setting.
And DNS 4.4.4.4 not work - maybe you miss with google 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8.

Next time please use windows cmd: find /v "CHR_VPN" log.txt > new_log.txt because all this lines with VPN are so frustrate (grep -v).
Please write in logs at the end note like: .... <= Now drop internet | Now I do at+reset | He do at+reset himself | .. etc.

I understand your frustration.
I think case is very very similar to my post: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=154848#p765554
Means I have ca-band but I loose it and signal is worst... and timeout... no internet... and r11e-lte6 stuck in offline by hours until other script not do stg. .

From logs you not reach any more. I read >10 at command's differ vendors, check many at commands. I know more but still I not developer.
MikroTik install me firmware modem v22 but case is "waiting" and I send many feedback about firmware itself hope sth change.

Please contact me via Telegram (my signature) and I share you some scripts who help me and you describe other parameters, count online/offline time, monitor changes of ca-band etc. "info lte1" are the best source for scripting.

This is a problem. You not provide a history of change primary-band, ca-band and other from info who can be report to logs. All this give us better idea what happens in BreakDown then AT commands. I not see that situation to modem stuck some time without internet etc. and I not know your scripts (not jet).

About disable CA... easy. Just set band=3 or set band=20 and he will be no choice to grab second interconnection as ca-band. I see in my testing then 2xCA give a stability and when B3 stops works and only B20/B8 works then I still online and then he loose connection and I was in offline mode and stuck offline what I report to MTK as SUP-3785 .

I do simple test with my SXTR+R11e-LTE6. Connect to IS with 2xCA or only one band. Place a sxtr on the floor for 2-3s and when I see 1st timeout I re-place sxtr to possition who have good signals and works perfect before ... but sxtr stuck offline permanent and some times after ~1h or ~20h he came back . This is SUP-3785.
I have few very good scripts who are publish in many posts and I not publish them in one place.
