OSPF link with same subnets both ends

Sat May 09, 2020 12:07 am

Looking at connecting two sites ptp. Going to use ospf because hopefully this is the first of many. Both sites are using 192.168.1.0/24 subnet for LAN. Whats the best way to handle this without having to change one of the subnets. 100 plus devices at both ends. Mikrotik routers both ends, Mimosa radios in the middle.
Thanks.

Probably thing i can think of is to use NAT translation between those two subnets.
Although in all honesty I would change one of them,.better to accept the pain now rather than continue perpetuating this problem.

1.
Change subnet on one of the sites, then use whatever routing you want to
Or
2.
Bridge the sites using EOIP tunnel and merge them into the same broadcast domain. What out for duplicate IPs, etc
