Im trying to install onto a 512 meg CF card using netinstall, and that part all goes fine, but the CF card doesnt boot, I get error "SYSLINUX 2.08 2003-12-12 Boot Failed"

The hardware is a SFF PC with a VIA processor x86 compatible, no floppy, no CD, no hard disk

have you downloaded the latest netinstall from mikrotik.com, and used the latest version of RouterOS?

yes, I have tryed a new CF card
now it boot linux ok and the kernel is ok, but after that it stops

I had the same problem with a PQI Industrial Compaq Flash. Changing the BIOS Hard disk acces mode configuration from AUTO to CHS, the system now boot fine.
