Trying to add Smart Light Bulb

Hi All,

I'm trying to assist a friend who is using a MikroTik router.

We are trying to add a Smart light bulb and not having any luck.

We have download the smart app onto our mobile device. We have ensured that only the 2.4ghz radio is enabled. The app picks up the bulb - but when you try and connect it asks for the network and password - enter that and it just times out.

To rule out a faulty device i took the bulb to my house and performed the same steps - it connects within seconds and works perfectly.

Is there some network security setting on the router that needs to be disabled or what could the issue be?

Appreciate any advice!

What does log on Mikrotik device say when bulb trying to connect?
