I have configured my router as described here.

Now I need to encapsulate uplink into VPN tunnel. I have created L2TP client interface and it is enabled, running and connected. I have checked Add Default Route for this PPP interface and routing table should be modified after that. It is in blue on the attached image.

But traffic is not going thru VPN. Packet count is not increasing. Does anyone can suppose why?

As additional task I need to bypass VPN tunnel for local addresses (192.168.8.2-192.168.8.254).
