Hi all,
I am completely new to MikroTik and also do not have a lot of experience in setting up networks (last one is probably 10+ years ago ;)).
I have a hAP lite (952Ui-5ac2nD) with RouterOS v6.48.1 running. To get into the topic of VLANs I have watched tons of YouTube Videos and also read quite a bit in the MikroTik Wiki on this topic. I am trying to achieve the following:
hAP lite as router with ISP fibre uplink on ether 1
Ether 2 as egress port for the UniFi Ubiquity switch connecting the UniFi APs
Ether 3 to ether 5 as VLAN access ports (for 2 PCs + IPPhone) on using the Switch (following https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rj9aPoyZOPo&t=283s)
I have tried to follow the instructions in the MikroTik-Wiki to set up the Bridge VLAN table (https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ ... VLAN+Table) but my problem is that the router and switch are integrated in one device, so that I do not have a trunk port I am using. I have tried to set up the VLANs within the bridge with seprate DHCP servers but this does not seem to be a way forward:
With this I am now stuck and wondering if this is at all possible or if the Bridge VLAN Table setup (https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ ... VLAN+Table) does only work with two separate physical devices.
It would be great if I could get some advise here if what I want to achieve is possible at all and what the way forward could be. Happy to add more details here, if needed.
Thank you all!
Andy
