WAN- / LAN-AP

Sun Apr 11, 2021 11:44 am

I just recently bought my first hapLite and I am completely new to RouterOs.

For my configuration I've used Quick Set WISP AP in Router mode. This configuration uses eth1 as WAN with DHCP-Client.
I've modified this default configuration to use the hapLite with two APs.
  • (A) AP for WAN: reusing SSID / DHCP-Server from my old router
  • (B) AP for LAN: using RouterOS DHCP-Server
For (A) I've create a new virtual W-LAN interface wlan2 and put it in a new bridge together with eth3 and eth4.
For (B) I've patched a cable from eth3 to eth1.

The internt from my old router has now to connect to eth4.

Can I realize the same setup in RouterOS without using a patch cable between eth3 / eth1?
