How to bridge L2TP/SSTP Clients

Sun Apr 18, 2021 12:53 pm

Hey guys 👋 I'm relatively new to MikroTik world, still learning so please go easy on me ;D

I have a RB760iGS, I've done basic setup for a router, I've got static IP from ISP, made L2TP server.

Now my case is I need my L2TP clients to be in one LAN, although they can ping each other but doesn't seem to have a local areal connection. Before posting here I googled a lot, and almost in all of cases people are connecting two MikroTik routers via EoIP, over L2TP, etc.

My issue is a bit different, I need direct tunneling between VPN users, so as far as I understood EoIP tunneling is exactly what I need, but I can't figure out how to set it up not for two routers but two vpn clients being in one router 😕 Neither can bridge them as an interface, since as I understood the MTU should be > 1500 to be able to bridge them, and by default it's 1450. Tried changing the value in L2TP Server settings, also I put MRRU 1600, however for a connected user the actual MRU value is still 1400. I also created a bridge and assigned it in PPP profiles, but still something is missing.

So now what are my options ? How can I establish direct tunneling connection between my VPN clients ?

Thanks in advance.
