how to troubleshoot a problem

Thu May 20, 2021 11:17 pm

Hi, coleagues. I have a Mikrotik RB 3011 with the following connections :
*) 1 ethernet cable connecting to a internet router (our ISP provides 600 Mbps in theory)
*) 4 antenas Ubiquiti Rocket M5, providing access to local clients (it is a tower, so the 4 antenas cover 90º each)

The installation has been working for months, with up to 30 clients connected simultaneously, and having over 10 Mbps speed each
Now, we have some problem - users have almost no access to internet - any page takes hours to load, and router has been verified to work properly.

Being one of the Ubiquity clients, I can access the Mikrotik, and I see 6 client antenas connected to our 4 Rocker antenas, so the problem seems not to be the antenas.

*** My question is : how can I troubleshoot the malfunction ?

pd.- RouterOS is 6.38.1

pd 2.- I will add "ping" results in a minute (ping to 4 antenas plus ping to 6 clients plus ping to router)

1st I connect using ssh to IP = 10.139.130.97, "ether5" port in Mikrotik

2nd) ping from Mikrotik to my antena :
[xarxa@TDLCampanarST1] /tool> ping-speed 10.139.130.117
current: 68.4Mbps
average: 4.2Gbps

3rd) ping from Mikrotik to another client on another antena :
[xarxa@TDLCampanarST1] /tool> ping-speed 10.139.130.82
current: 8.5Mbps
average: 10.9Mbps

4th) no access to internet :
[xarxa@TDLCampanarST1] /tool> ping-speed 8.8.8.8
current: 0bps
average: 0bps

5th) can access my port to router
[xarxa@TDLCampanarST1] /tool> ping-speed 192.168.1.254 --- ether 10, mikrotik port to router
current: 2.3Gbps
average: 3.0Gbps

6th) cant access router
[xarxa@TDLCampanarST1] /tool> ping-speed 192.168.1.1 --- router "inside" IP
current: 0bps
average: 0bps

Is there any tool to troubleshoot the connection from ether10 to router ?
