Good day all,
I am sorry to bother the experts with this but I am somewhat stumped.
I generally work with Pfsense and know my way around a netgate box without issue.
I am new to Mikrotik and am trying to put a small Map Lite box in "Client" Mode.
now I can start it and connect to its wifi signal and get into the web config.
However, when I switch it to station mode I obviously loose connection. The thing I don't unserstand
is that the ethernet port is used to connect to the Wan of the router so How am I supposed to finish the config ?
I have looked at some youtube videos but this simple question is never addressed...
What am I missing here ?

Simply put directly the PC on the ethernet without using router.
And if you do not reach to do that, probably you can not make the device work (as you expected) without assistance.
