Complete Beginner - setting up a second subnet

Wed Jun 02, 2021 11:18 am

Hey all,
I'm attempting to setup a second subnet only on Eth10. This is with a DHCP server that assigns IP addresses on this range 10.99.1.0/24.
I removed the ethernet port from the bridge and created the DHCP server which works.
The Clients are assigned the correct IP addresses but I cant ping the routers IP address and I cant forward packets to the internet.
I have added a forward chain rule from src 10.99.1.0/24 to dst: 0.0.0.0/24
I am new and using the Winbox gui interface. Can Someone please advise what the next step is please?

Sure, please post your config so that we can see what is going on.

/export hide-sensitive file=anynameyouwish

Go to the terminal window in winbox (left hand menu) and type the above in at the prompt and hit enter.
Then GO go FILES on the left hand menu and file the name of the file you created.
Right click on the file and download to your desktop
Open it in notepad++ for example, copy and paste it in the thread
AND use the code tags above (next to bold , italics etc. its the black square with the white square brackets.
