Mikrotik cloud router <> win server 2019 dhcp

Thu Jul 22, 2021 2:53 pm

Hi there,

I am having some diffuculties setting up the win server 2019 dhcp on mikrotik.

Little overview of everything i just came to the company and I am not really sure what to look at the mikrotik.
We were using x.x.x.x/23 network, which I would like to change to 2 different VLANS and /24 masks.

Since we are going to use local AD and domain I have set up everything on a few VMs (back up server etc..), created 2 new scopes 10.1.2.0/24 & 10.1.3.0/24 on the DHCP server. But the issue is when I try to configure the static ip with e.g 10.1.3.200 on a workstation since i have to use 10.1.2.1 as a gateway (IP of the Mikrotik)

Everything was working fine until i disabled the DHCP on Mikrotik, and started using the WIN DHCP.

Now what do I have to setup on Mikrotik that I can use Win DHCP without any issues, beside disabling the DHCP?

I have watched it, added the dhcp relay and still the same..

From what I have gathered is that when you try to access (Synology NAS for example) from network 10.1.3.0/24 to 10.1.2.0/24 network it takes about 1-2 min to load the web interface.

If you connect to the mikrotik VPN everything work smooth as butter, same with the Synology NAS that is on the 10.1.3.0/24.

I am really lost right here.. anyone got some other ideas?
