AP speed

Thu Aug 05, 2021 9:48 am

Hi dear,

Could you help me to understand some things:

- I have a router connected to switch css300series and from switch to CSS106-1G-4P-1S and connected in this switch AP Wap ac. Speed from switch is 200/200Mbps but from AP on 5ghz and 2,4 is 95/95. I tried to change Mode in only N to speed up and nothing changed. Wap ac have limit only 95/95 or I need to change something ? Also links are indicated as 1Gb

Thanks in advance

Wireless speed on 5GHz band should be a lot higher (depending on configuration and client device)...can you share config on the wAP ac?
/export hide-sensitive file=anynameyoulike

Why you use CAPsMAN if you have only the wAP ac?

You would be better of if you show your config (of the caps manager):

/export hide-sensitive file=anynameyoulike

Besides, settings on the interfaces are overwritten by the CAPsMAN configuration.

As asked from @erlinden on previous post, make the export and post it on fourm,
you need less time than take useless screenshot.

Also, why post 2GHz config? It's useless, as 2GHz is so full that it's nearly guaranteed that you will get bad sped these days.
Post export with 5GHz config please. And are you testing 5GHz, are you sure?

I have a lot of switches connected in series and all switches have 5 ports 100Mbps and for this reason its very slow. I need to replace these switches and after to verify speed.
