SXT LTE kit powering problem

Wed Aug 25, 2021 1:51 pm

HI to all.

I have purchased two piecies brand new Mikrotik SXT LTE Kit (RBSXTR&R11e-LTE).
Im trying to power SXT ether1 port directly from 12V 2A DC using PoE injector, but with no results.
When im using 24V default DC that was inside a box its all ok, but using 12V is critical for me.
I also have full idential my old SXT LTE Kit (RBSXTR&R11e-LTE) with all the same features, but i've noticed that SN ending with rev.2.
And rev.2 is working good with 12v POE.

Both Rev.3 that i have just bougth is not working with 12v POE, but instruction says that 12-57 V is supported.
Ive just checked that rev.3 is working fine with 13V lab DC.

What can i do?

Thanks in advance!

try
*) disable Poe-Out at ether2
*) write to MikroTik.com/support about that differ revision have problems
*) use step-up to increse V, means additional HW to up voltage

I see that https://mikrotik.com/product/sxt_r have in description "can support full range of 12-57" but remember that longer ethernet cable give lose and V is lower automatical.
