Load Balancing PCC, NTH or ECMP method?

Wed Sep 08, 2021 6:51 pm

Hi! All,

I would like to ask your opinion on which MikroTik Load Balancing I shall use for my existing first wan pppoe-out1 500Mbps and second wan ether4 100Mbps via WiFi CPE design? Thanks.

Currently I am using WAN1 FailOver WAN2 with success.

I want to do Load Balancing at the same time that is once WAN1 max bandwidth is reached then it will use WAN2. Else WAN1 will only be used if within limit of 500Mbps. WAN2 is use only when required with is 100Mbps.

Thank you.

Not so sure that can be done as that is not really load balancing.
How bout something where for every 5 sessions using WAN1, 1 session is used on wan2 or something to that effect 5:1 ration so to speak.
Perhaps others know how to accomplish this (some form of queuing?)
