CRS326-24S+2Q+RM Can't access LAN devices

Sun Jan 28, 2024 11:15 am

Hi There,

I have just got my new second-hand Mikrotik CRS326-24S+2Q+RM, planned to upgrade my local network to 40G.

My original network uses an "Unifi switch aggregation" 10G switch with no problem, and now I have added a "CRS326-24S+2Q+RM" Mikrotik SFP+ switch under the Unifi 10G switch,
and I found all the devices that is under the Mikrotik SFP+ switch's local networks are unreachable, like NAS, and printer is not reachable, and ping not reasonable, but those devices are can be access to the WAN.
Image

I have seen a lot of posts in the forum and tried to use Winbox to solve the problem but seems not luck, I have reset the Mikrotik SFP+ switch to the factory with basic configuration.

Current settings:
No vlan setting
Router - UDMpro - 192.168.1.1/24
Unifi 10G switch - 192.168.1.2
Mikrotik 10G switch CRS326-24S+2Q+RM - 192.168.1.10
NAS - 192.168.1.128
PC - 192.168.1.222

Ping from 192.168.1.222 to 192.168.1.128 is reachable, >1ms, but SMB via ip and visit via ://my-server/ is not working.

192.168.1.222 & 192.168.1.128 can access to WAN
but not LAN ( local network )

We don't need complex vlan or firewall settings, and we hope to just allow anything that connects to this Mikrotik SFP+ switch can be access each other's shared folder/NAS/local network.
If anyone knows how to, please let me know!

Thanks all!

? :?
EDIT:
I am not completely crazy, there was a post with a configuration that ended with "#interrupted" and clearly missed a large part of the settings.

Push,
is there any further information that I should provide in this case to help identify the problem?

Thanks all!

Re: CRS326-24S+2Q+RM Can't access LAN devices  [SOLVED]

Updated : Just switch the RouterOS to SwitchOS and it is working again.

Some time simple is the best...
But the fan just keep running at 100% speed, kind of loud and I am going to replace those with noctua fan.
