Linux on routerboard?

Wed Feb 06, 2008 4:04 pm

Hi, I have a RB333 and I would like to know if possible install linux.
I need more powerfull scripts (I'm actually using these scripts on a desktop linux pc, but I would install it on a routerboard) so I can manage directly storage devices through serial port, send data, etc. etc.
Is it possible?
Are there available drivers to use R52 radios on linux?

Take a look over at http://www.routerboard.com
The forums there deal with Linux on routeboard.
I dont know if there is a distro for the RB333, I would asume there was as RouterOS is a Linus Kernal...

Also check the product page for the 333, I know on the 500 series page it has links to installa disto...

forum.routerboard.com has more info, but remember that it's not easy and you will have to patch the kernel
