Enable SNMP RIC522T, Cacti

Fri Mar 28, 2008 12:24 pm

Hello

I bought some RIC522T I use for WDS PTP bridges.
This may be a stupid question, but how do I monitor these in Cacti.
I wan`t to graph SNR, CCQ etc.
I do not have the skills to make my own templates.
When I added one of the radios as generic SNMP device I got a SNMP error.

Is there any easy how to`s on getting started with MT and Cacti?

snmp set enabled=yes
should be used to enable SNMP on MikroTik.

There is no much information provided via SNMP for wireless,
interface wireless> registration-table print oid
 0 strength=
   tx-bytes=
   rx-bytes=
   tx-packets=
   rx-packets=
   tx-rate=
   rx-rate=
additionaly for client interface,
/interface wireless> print oid
 0 tx-rate=
   rx-rate=
   strength=
   ssid=
   bssid=
   frequency=

If you google...you can find some nice templates for cacti for MikroTik.
