USB to serial cable

Thu Jul 17, 2008 12:37 am

Has anyone successfully purchased a USB to serial adapter and used a null modem cable?

I'm looking at this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6812156009

But hopefully there are some suggestions on known working ones =)

Thanks in advance!

If you need one fast, Radio Shack stocks them.

I see - my major concern was incompatibility of USB to serial adapters (as I have had some customers with medical devices that were picky about which products to use).

If all I have to worry about is a driver for my OS then that answers my question. Thanks for the help guys!
