X86 PC requirements

HI all,

What is the minimum hard disk size recommended for a x86 system running ROS? Does the X*^ ver come with the User Manager? TIA

Thanks for the response. I should have asked about CPU and RAM also. Is there anywhere on the site to find this info?

There is no minimum CPU speed, but it has to be X86 compatible, and also you need at least 32MB of RAM

Thanks again for the response. Does the X86 version of ROS have the User Manager? I need to set up a PC to act as Bandwidth controller( to assign specific bandwidth to users by MAC address). Do I need to purchase a special version?

all versions have the same features. the license levels depending on price have different limits, see here:

I want to build a super powerful router that can handle 30GIG of ddos attack using firewall rules without any problems what do you guys recommend
