Install RouterOS in the HDD using USB boot

Sun Apr 25, 2010 11:52 pm

Hi

Is there a way to boot the server from an USB pendrive and install RouterOS in the hard disk? My servers do not have CD-ROM.

I've tried to boot from the USB using .iso file from the Downloads section, but at boot time, the system says "CD-ROM not installed" or something like this.

Otherwise, using NetInstall tool, RouterOS was installed on the pen drive. I have to install on the hard disk.

Please, I appreciate some help on this.

Thank you in advance.

I think that its only supported IDE on x86, not SATA.
