Port forwarding

Mon Jun 11, 2012 10:12 pm

Dear all,

Following MicroTik's manual for forwarding I'm doing the following but still not able to ssh remotely:

/ip firewall nat add chain=dstnat dst-address=static-ip-on-internet protocol=tcp dst-port=22 \
action=dst-nat to-address=localaddress to-ports=86

What I get is that every time I try to ssh remotely, it seems that the router receives the ssh but unable to forward it to appropriate address as it stucks in terminal afterwards. Any input is appreciated.

Is ssh running on port 86 on the host you're forwarding to?
