I am planning to setup a small wireless hotspot from my pocket wifi (since DSL is not available in my area) for 15 people. I am considering to buy Mikro Tik RB750, my questions are:
1. How do I connect my pocket WIFI to Mikro Tik RB750?
2. Can I then manage the bandwidth of each gadget connected to WIFI?

I have other questions but I will ask depending on the answers. Please assist me thanks..

Does pocket wifi have ethernet port? RB750 is ethernet only. Even if it does have an ethernet port, it would not be in line with the people.

Yes, MikroTik routers have lots of bandwidth mgt options. wiki

How do you envision the RB750 fitting into the mix? If I understand the pocket wifi correctly, it gets internet connection from cellular network, then gives off wifi signal for X number of people? You can't put a RB750 between the pocket wifi device and the people.

I suppose you could get an RB433 and 2 wireless cards, one for connecting to pocket wifi, and another for broadcasting as AP to the people (http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php ... 56#p313238).

Internet --> pocket wifi --> [wlan1 client] RB433 [wlan2 AP] --> 15 people

However, some people on the forums says multiple cards on one board can have interference problems.

These would go into something like a http://routerboard.com/RB433 or http://routerboard.com/RB433AH (there are other boards that would work too...). You would need 2 of the cards above (2 of one kind, or one of each would work too I think).
