Web Proxy - No Route to host

Mon Apr 07, 2014 2:35 pm

Hello there,

Ive set up a web proxy for testing the features. I will be using it for cachnig to external HDD and blocking sites.

When I activate the web proxy and its features I am having troubles about my servers. I cannot connect to them with their local, static IP or domain.

I have 3 bridges up connected to

X Bridge : Eth2-6
Y Bridge : Eth7-10
Z Bridge : Eth11-12

I have an interface named Modem in my Eth1 ( internet ).

Here are the WebProxy settings; ( the simplest one.. )

Sample rule I am testing;

NAT settings;

Filter settings;

This is only what it should happen;

But when I apply the rule I get a routing error for local machines. Servers and other stuff uses 80 protocol gives an error. Ive changed 8080 port but since I am routing 80, there is no difference. I have no problem with HTTPs servers or remote connections.

Since servers are in the different interface, Ive tried to apply this rule to different interface instead of applying whole, it still doesnt work.

Is there anything I am missing to add?

Thanks in advance!

Add "dst-address-type=!local" to the dstnat redirect rule.
