Winbox - IP Route Window - Colors

Mon Apr 07, 2014 6:35 pm

Dumb question... What do the colors mean? If I understood what the colors mean (blue, red) in the IP ROUTE display window then maybe I could learn something new.

Any simple answer?

Thanks.

Last I checked:
Black means good.
Blue means the interface is not running (nothing connected)
Red means the interface doesn't exist or is disabled.

Never seen RED in ip route display view, but black is an Active route, blue is a non-active route (i.e. another route entry taking precedence).

You can find RED on IP ADDRESS if you set an IP to an interface and then remove that (the interface - like a bridge)
