SXT Connection Question

Mon Sep 29, 2014 10:00 pm

One of my customers has a SXT2 as CPE, the AP is Ubiquiti Rocket M2, at times his Internet will become non responsive, during those times traceroute to our core router just times out, after a minute or so it will function as normal. The connection to the AP is holding fine during this period.

Today I was looking at the config and I noticed that ht-rxchains=0,1 and ht-txchains=0,1 was missing from the wireless config.

What, if any, problems should one expect with those 2 items missing? I added them back though.

Thanks

Don't mix any brand (Mikrotik and Ubiquiti)

The devices speak a different language with each other
Then it is very difficult to build a good performance.

Maby a tip Disable airmax on the rocket.
But a good performance forget that

The network (not mine) is made up of Ubiquiti and MikroTik products and has great success. AirMax isn't enabled on the Rocket, if it was the MikroTik wouldn't be able to connect.

But I do agree, things seem to work better if it's just MirkoTik stuff or Ubiquiti, and I'm leaning towards Ubiquiti products
