Complete manual in PDF book form?

Tue Dec 23, 2014 12:49 pm

I just got my first RouterOS router (RB2011 series).

I like to read documentation in full, rather than piecemeal as webpages.

If there a full PDF for this?

I tried 'download as PDF' from the Manual:TOC page and only got an error:
Book rendering failed
There was an error while attempting to render your book.
Is there a pre-generated PDF I can download somewhere?

Sorry but there isn't. Manual is updated every day, so I suggest using the web version.

The PDF print function in the Wiki relies on an external service, which is currently not working (if anyone has an alternative solution, let us know :)

Normis,

Install a PDF creator on your desktop and use CTRL P, choose the PDF Creator and save the file :-)

As for the original poster, yes PDF would be nice. Perhaps MT can publish it to a PDF, not every day, but often enough that will be accurate enough, say 1 time per week, or month, and at the very top on page 1, have a URL link to go the " Current ONLINE Version" which has the most up to date info.

PDF is good for offline places, like in a plane, or when you are trying to set up that long range wireless link with MT hardware and need a manual in PDF because the link isn't up yet. haha
