BGP, OSPF, SNMP, Winbox.... QUEUEs

Thu Nov 16, 2017 5:26 pm

Hi I'm going out of my comfort zone here and need your help or advice.

Having MT as CPE on customer that is out of blue using all avail bandwith (witch they should be able to do) renders protocols and management tools erradic to say the least.

I thought I may ask what is your recommendation as to queues for reserving or prioritizing under heavy load.

I want as little conf as possible to keep upp the packet speed.

On the same Fiber that goes to customer i need OSPF, SNMP, WINBOX, and sometimes BGP.

While we're at it perhaps we should make som consensus around LDP and other MPLS related stuff ass well. Where do we begin.
For the sake of argument fiber 1G (SFP1) customer want as much as possible and I want to be able to manage and have stable protocols.

Shoot lets here your thoughts.
