PPPoE + OSPF = Discarding packet: locally originated

Fri Nov 17, 2017 12:33 pm

Hi!
Since upgrade to 6.39.3, lots of messages of this kind in logs.
Nothings have changed in network topology, only upgraded routers to 6.39.3 (bugfix only).
The message appears every time a user connects or disconnects from PPPoE.
Each PPPoE server is in his own interface: i haven't bridges.
I've 3 routers (2xRB3011 and 1xRB2011) with this problem.

It's a mikrotik bug or can be other problem ??
Thanks!

There is a loop in your network or two OSPF neighbors with the same ID.

Nothings have changed in network topology:
no new router, no new links, no new switches...
Only upgraded routers.

Anyway, the error does not spread to more nodes, only to those 3.
I will check the configuration again, and / or install version 6.38

We've found the cause of the OSPF errors (ms-configured switch) but the PPPoE drop outs still remain
