Interfaces are 10Gbps.
We have set these patterns:
Code: Select all
0 name="r1" header-stack=mac,ip,udp assumed-port=dynamic0 assumed-interface=sfp-sfpplus1 assumed-mac-src=64:D1:54:E9:96:C1 assumed-mac-dst=64:D1:54:E9:96:C2 assumed-mac-protocol=ip assumed-ip-dscp=0
assumed-ip-id=0 assumed-ip-frag-off=0 assumed-ip-ttl=64 ip-dst=2.2.2.2 ip-gateway=1.1.1.254 assumed-ip-src=1.1.1.1 assumed-ip-protocol=udp assumed-udp-src-port=100 assumed-udp-dst-port=200
assumed-udp-checksum=0 data=uninitialized data-byte=0 random-byte-offsets-and-masks="" random-ranges="" special-footer=yes compute-checksum-from-offset=no-checksum
1 name="r2" header-stack=mac,ip,udp assumed-port=dynamic1 assumed-interface=sfp-sfpplus2 assumed-mac-src=64:D1:54:E9:96:C2 assumed-mac-dst=64:D1:54:E9:96:C1 assumed-mac-protocol=ip assumed-ip-dscp=0
assumed-ip-id=0 assumed-ip-frag-off=0 assumed-ip-ttl=64 ip-dst=1.1.1.1 ip-gateway=2.2.2.254 assumed-ip-src=2.2.2.2 assumed-ip-protocol=udp assumed-udp-src-port=100 assumed-udp-dst-port=200
assumed-udp-checksum=0 data=uninitialized data-byte=0 random-byte-offsets-and-masks="" random-ranges="" special-footer=yes compute-checksum-from-offset=no-checksum
Code: Select all
quick tx-template=r1,r2 packet-size=1300 mbps=8000
We have change the network in this way:
Between 2 Mk 1072 we have put 3 Mk 1036 configured with mpls ldp and we have configured a vpls tunnel between R1 and R3 and we have deployed a bridge for reconnect RT1 with RT2. We have done the test with traffic-generator tool again (but with 800 mbps, because we use fast-ethernet) and there are 200 mbps lost.
We have checked the cpu usage and it is 1 %.
So why is there this big loss?
