MPL TE RouterOS as PE/CE cisco as backbone lab

Thu Jan 18, 2018 6:26 pm

Hello again everyone,

I'd like to follow up on my MPLS learning and testing, first of all to tell you that I got the simulated and real scenarios depicted here: MPLS+ BGP VPLS now VLANs over the MPLS backbone

Devices: (all running MPLS)
2 Cisco 2821 (these are the LSR)
1 CCR1009 > LER
1 CRS125 > LER
1 RB2011 > LER
1 hEX PoE > LER connected to the cable modem

So, I'm testing TE Tunnels, all setup done as per these wikis
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Simple_TE
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:TE_Tunnels_Example (incomplete, shame)
I've enabled TE on all of the routers including cisco on IFS and OSPF area 0
mpls traffic-eng tunnels
mpls label range 300000 399999
mpls label protocol ldp
 encapsulation mpls
 mpls traffic-eng tunnels
 mpls label protocol ldp
 mpls ip
 mpls traffic-eng tunnels
 mpls label protocol ldp
 mpls ip
 mpls traffic-eng router-id Loopback0
 mpls traffic-eng area 0
mpls ldp router-id Loopback0

I've setup the tunnel paths and interfaces on the RouterBOARDS and the paths one using CSPF and the other as strict path this TE tunnel I'm trying to bring up from the top most router (RB_CE) to the bottom most (RB_PE206), but the won't come up and I'm getting CSPF path not found
