TE- Failover Testing

Thu Mar 08, 2018 10:42 am

Using this example:

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Simple_TE

About Failover Testing, MikroTik already says:

"Note: Switching from primary to secondary path may not be as fast as expected. It depends on OSPF dead timeouts, routing table updates and timeout settings in TE tunnel configuration."

Just i need your experiance how long does it take? in my case it takes 2 min :)

Thanks

By enabling BFD or reducing OSPF dead interval

and

setting lower TE reoptimize interval and primary-retry-interval
