Supportive load balancing ?

Sun May 27, 2018 12:49 am

Dear friends,

My subject may be confusing but I don't know how to name what I want to do.
I would like to use two WAN links in a kind of load balancing but, for example if I have two WAN links and both are 50/5 Mbps, is it possible to have a "default" WAN which will always be active (the only one active) as long as the bandwidth is lower than 50/5 Mbps? The second WAN should be used to support the load if users in local LAN are consuming 50 Mbps in download or 5 Mbps in upload. Is this possible and how can it be done?

Best Regards.

Just to re-state you wish. You would like to push users to a second internet link once the first has reached saturation ?

Hello friend,

Yes, exactly. If the link is maxed out then new connections should be routed to another one.

Thanks for reply.
