NTP via not default port (server and client is mine)

Thu Jul 05, 2018 7:22 pm

Hi everyone. Please help me find the correct path.

I have one mikrotik with public IP, NTP server installed and running fine (MT1). Second mikrotik (MT2) is not mine, it is main router in some building where I bought a flat. I have one LAN socket in this flat. I connected in to this socket my second mikrotik (MT3). On MT3 I configured DHCP client, ceceived IP form MT2 and internet is ok. But the MT2 not forwarding UDP123 to his LAN. So I cant use NTP Client on my MT3. My question: Is it possible (how) configure MT1 somehow and MT3 somehow so NTP sync would be via some different port, for examplet 45623.

Many thanks in advance for any ideas or clues.

Why not just manually configure NTP Client on both devices. Here is a guide: https://blog.ligos.net/2018-01-29/NTP-P ... rotik.html

Hi 2frogs. Thank you for reply. Maybe I don´t understand but it seem like this is no solution for me, because all configurations in this guide need open port UDP123, but my mikrotik (MT3) is in network where port UPD123 is not allowed. So I need workaround about this port restriction.
