ospf network not redistributing routes after reboot

Sun Sep 09, 2018 5:07 pm

Good morning.

I'm experiencing some weird problems with our ospf. I have 14 remote towers connected via PTP wireless link each with a router running ospf to redistribute the connected routes. Also have other 4 routers in our backbone site. The routers at the backbone site get rebooted every Sunday at 4am. The past two times it had rebooted the rest of the routers do not receive the routes and can't access the Internet. I can access each router directly but, somehow the ospf routes don't get redistributed. I have to reboot each router and sometimes when they come up they work.

The ospf network type is broadcast, had it ptmp it was doing the same thing. Today I noticed that the DR was one of the remote routers, forced the routers at the backbone to be the DR or BDR by assigning 0 to the remote routers' priority.

All routers are running the same version.

Here are some of the logs from three of the routers while we had the problem.

I would appreciate if someone can help me out identify the problem might have.

Thanks in advanced for your time and help.
