Setting up own BGP Communities

Tue Oct 16, 2018 2:34 pm

Hi Guys

I am interested in learning how I can setup my own BGP Communities for my downstream customers,

For example, ISP1 Blackhole 100:666, ISP2 Blackhole 200:666

How can i create my own 999:666 that when I receive a route with this, it goes through to ISP1 and ISP2's blackhole communities?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
D

Create an route filter on your customer bgp sessions and check for your blackhole community. If the community is set append the upstream blackhole communities.

Hi mhviper

Could you send me an example screenshot or code snip?
