OSPF issue

Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:05 pm

Capture.PNG
R3 default route is going to R2
R4 default route is going to R2
R3 has alternate route to R2 via R4 which has a higher cost.

I have an issue with ospf where traffic leaving R3 doesn't return the same path but returns via R4 to R3.
I see this by traffic (tx) and no (rx) between R3 and R2.

currently set now is R3 routes to R4 then to R2 and returns the same path.
I would like to all traffic from R3 go to R2 and return and the same for R4.

You have to adjust interface costs on all links along available path.
